Unhappy 05 civic headlamp issue HELP!

My passenger headlamp was out so I replaced it. Turned on headlamps to test and same bulb blew instantly? Driver side works fine no issues and brights have no issues. Checked fuses and relays and all seem ok. Anyone have any ideas?

Did you make sure that you did not touch the bulb directly with your fingers?

I think that you got a defective bulb. There's nothing about the car that can make bulbs blow out other than abnormally high voltage from the alternator, which would blow all the bulbs not just one. The engine would also have to have been running.
