Unhappy 1992 Civic Shaking In Idle

Hello all! I'm a newbie and if this subject has been prviously addressed I apologize . I own a 1992 Honda Civic EX with 119,000 miles on functioning odometer. When I stop at a red light it starts to shake (when still in gear DRIVE) but stops shaking when I put it in Neutral. When I accelerate at the green light it drives fine. I've gotten up to 70-90 on the parkway easily.
The speeding ticket I got proves it! LOL
One mechanic I used for the first time says it's only running on three cylinders (after performing a compression test: Reading 150 on cylinders 1,3 and 4 but zero on #2. I don't know him well enough (yet) to trust his diagnosis. Another theory is air intake valve. Before i go to another mechanic foa a 2nd opinion, I thought I's ask here.
car is also emitting white smike from exhause and yes it does burn oil.
Thank you for your feedback.

Since this is a DIY type of forum, here is a test you can do yourself.

Warm up the engine and let it idle in park. Unplug the wires from the fuel injectors one at a time to temporarily shut down each cylinder. (You will need to undo the wire clip around the base of the plug for it to come off.) When you kill a good cylinder the engine will slow down and run rough. If the cylinder is already dead (such as #2 is suspected), nothing will happen when you disconnect its injector.

Or you could do the same operation pulling the spark plugs one at a time.
Compression testers can be gotten pretty cheap at places like harbor freight.

http://www.harborfreight.com/quick-c...ter-95187.html

They are pretty easy to use.

Disconnect wires going to the distributor.
Remove spark plug wires from spark plugs. (I typicaly only do the one that I am working on)
Remove the furthest right spark plug (cylinder #1)
Thread the tester in.
Turn the ignition to start and wait for it to cycle a few times.
Make a not of the value on the dial.
Repeat for the other 3 cylinders.

Whole process takes about 20 mins if you don't know what you are doing and probably costs less than that diagnostic you had done.
