I just bought this car, and I can't seem to find a specs list anywhere on the net really. I have a '98 EX 4DR. Can anyone help me out in finding stock specs on this model?

This has had some engine work to it, like cold air intake, and a few other things but not much that I know of.


I know it's hard to tell what it has just by the pic, but nobody around here knows much about this which kinda sucks.

 

I spy a D16Y8 engine (127hp) with VTEC, generic SRI (short ram intake, not to be confused with CAI, cold air intake) with the stock airbox still in place (they didn't remove the rest of it), aftermarket alarm system, raditator hose dress-up wrapping falling apart (don't worry you don't need it), cruise control, A/C, and it looks to be manual transmission with a fancy billet aluminum cover on the clutch master cylinder.

Wow. You can tell it has cruise control from that pic? LOL I can't! Thanks for the info! Also I know the radiator isn't stock (as the sticker on it says 2004 lol). And yes, it's a 5 speed standard transmission.

Hmm..I've heard of VTEC but was never exactly clear on what it does. (I haven't been into cars really until now. I had a Mazda B2200 for two years and I couldn't get into mechanics with that thing)
