Default 2001 Civic with 1362 and 1361 codes

Just read the codes for my civic. 1362 and 1361. Bought a new camshaft position sensor. This car is new to me and looking on the internet some say it may be a top dead positon sensor. I thought it would be a quick sensor change but now it looks like I have to take off the timing cover is this correct? Any advice would be appreciated.

Cool

Step 1: Disconnect the Negative Battery Cable.
Step 2: Remove the valve cover.
Step 3: Put a rag or shift over the head(so nothing falls in)
Step 4: remove the TDC wire by the upper timing belt cover.
Step 5: Remove the UPPER timing cover.
