Ok just bought a used 01 civic and the cruise control button lights up when pressed but there is no cruise control light on the dash when i hit the set button, I have read it could be vacuum lines or a sensor on the petals? however im not very family with the car could somebody tell me what i need to be looking for, thanks you!!

 

Sorry, decided to go check farther up under the dash and found the sensors i've read about and the button for the clutch was way out of adjustment, 10 minute fix sorry for wasting yalls time.
