Default 2001 Civic locks itself when keyfob nearby
Our 2001 Civic mysteriously locks itself, usually when the keyfob is nearby. Once the dealer tech "reprogrammed" something to remedy this problem, but the problem hasn't gone away.

i'd recommend downloading your yr's service manual from the link in my signature. it should some information on this. your owner's manual might also have something on this.
