2001 Honda Civic DX rad fan not coming on
I have a 2001 Honda Civic DX coupe. I bought the car and replaced the clutch. After replacing the clutch so it could drive. The temperature gauge went almost to red line. So I shut the engine down. I then replaced the thermostat, ECT and the rad fan switch. The car still almost red lines and the fans don't come on. I put a scanner on it and the temperature gets to 203^f and fans still won't come on. I can jump the radio fan connection to the switch and they come on fine. Can anyone tell me what is going on with the temperature gauge going almost to red line even when the scanner says the temperature is only 160^f and why the fans won't come on even know the temperature gets to 203^f ??? The fans are supposed to come on if the temperature get to 199^f. I have been looking all over the internet and can't seem to get an answer beside the switch maybe bad but it's new.
