RE: Please help, cant get my axles back in!!
First make sure that the axle is started into the transmission straight, and if you have changed something make sure the axle is the proper one for your transmission.
Have everything together except the lower ball joint. Swing the knuckle/brake disk assembly out so the inner CV joint expands out some, but not too far because it will come apart inside. Then swing the knuckle in so the inner joint closes, hitting the bottom. This should pop the axle into the transmission.
If you have the ball joint together you can try tapping the edge of the inner joint cup (where the boot attaches) with a soft hammer, but be careful not to dmage the boot.

i also had a few problems getting my drivers side into the transmission, just persevere it will go in, in the end without too much force, i dont think its a good idea to use a hammer as no real force is needed to get it in there

Not trying to be a smartass, but make sure you have the correct axle in the correct side. They are very different. Also do NOT pull on the shaft at all!!! It will pull the shaft out of the joint cage, and will force you to tear apart the joint to "rebuild" it. Try rotating the shaft to see if it seats.
