Hi. I was wondering if a Civic geek out there would be able to come up with an answer to this one. Basically, I bought a 2001 Si which was previously modded (inside and out) and the body brought back to stock. The hood sits high (as in does not fully close). I suspect that the guy who sold it to me put a different latch for different hood and never put the OEM latch back on. Can anybody tell me if this is the proper latch for my model by the picture?

Looks just like my latch. But i have a 2001 ex coupe
check the '*****' (what i like to call them) near where your headlights are. your hood sits on those and they are adjustable, so see if that are all the way down.
