Ok so heres my problem. I turn the key and I can basically hear the rod of the starter shoot, engage and die? But I can't even get a single crank. Please someone help. Enough power in battery.

Turn the engine by hand to be sure it is not seized. Seizure of one of the accessories (alternator, P/S, or A/C) can also seem like a seized engine if the belt is tight enough to stop the starter.

Measure the voltage at the starter (between the big wire and starter ground) while someone turns the key. If more than 9 volts, almost certainly bad starter. If less, check battery again (measure voltage at battery while someone turns the key) and power and ground wires and connections.

Yeah, sounds like a bad starter. Can you push start the engine? Your local auto parts store will bench test your starter if you remove it and take it to them.

Ok thanks for the advise guys. I'll try both of these tomorrow. I don't know how the engine could seize when it was running like a week ago. And no p/s or a/c. My guess was also the starter.

I'm kinda hoping it is and that its not the starter. Easy, but expensive.

Uh oh. Sounds like the engine may be locked up.

Haha...Let's called it seized. Was it low on oil? Did it overheat?

I hadn't even started it, I cranked it a few times. It might be a little low on oil.
