2005 Honda civic 1.7L Egr valve cleaning
 

I recently received a clogged egr valve code on my 2005 Honda Civic Ex and need some information as to the procedure to go through to clean the egr valve.particularly how to engage the valve to reach in for cleaning. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

DIY: forgotten tune-up mods - Honda Civic Forum getting the nuts off could be an issue i would spray them with penetration fluid also getting to the nuts is a bitch your going to need a very thin extension and a swivel socket. also you should replace the cam seal plug while the EGR is out of the way those always leak oil.
