Default 2008 Honda Civic Lx

okay guys, im in a tight spot here. I have an 08 civic with 22,000 miles or so and i recently got into a crash. it wasnt a big one just the front drivers side got damaged. i was still able to drive it after and it was working perfectly. now the car jerks when it warms up but only in "D" or any drive gear besides reverse. It doesnt jerk in parking or reverse just in drive. The car wont go over 25mph and i already replaced the maf sensor and have added some fluid to the tranny. Do you have to use genuine honda fluid? what can also be causing this to jerk? I know that beneath the solenoid packs that i replaced were some small colanders and i only found 1 of them. Could it be that the colanders aka filters have gone in and are being or cannot be shred up in the gears? Please help me since im really stuck with this. Thank you
