50K Maintenance on a 2004 Civic?
OK, I'm a newbie here and hope this isn't covered somewhere that I've missed it. My son in Georgia has my 2004 Civic Sedan with him and I'm in Alaska. Can't find the owner's manual. &%$#! Anyway, the maintenance light just came on at 50K. Could anyone tell me what the recommended service is at that mileage on vehicle at those miles? Thanks in advance from Seward, Alaska.

Check your belts. Check your coolant to see if it is still good or needs to be swapped out. You could do a fuel system cleaning. Change your oil. Spark plugs and spark plug wires. distributor cap and rotor. stuff like that
The maintenace light means time for an oil change. It changes to amber at 7,000mi and red at 10,000mi. When the oil is changed, you are supposed to insert your key into the slot on the gauge cluster to reset the counter for this. The reason it turns amber at 7,000mi is because Honda recommends 7,000mi oil changes. The coolant, water pump, spark plugs and wires, and timing belt aren't due to be changed until 105,000mi.
