Default 87 Honda Civic - Overheating Problem

Just replaced my radiator. As soon as I started driving again and it started to overheat. It did not overheat with the other radiator but now it is with the new one. Fairly new water pump and thermostat. I am up for any suggestions asap. Thank you!!

Did you bleed all the air out? That model should have a bleeder bolt on the upper hose fitting on the head. Turn the heater to full hot and run the engine with the radiator cap off to bleed it. Do the head gasket check to see if air / coolant blows out of the radiator when you rev the engine with the cap off. I would also replace the thermostat anyway. Sometimes they do not last very long at all.
