'88 Honda Civic Hatchback: Can't find CV axles-HELP!!!!

Howdy, I have a 1988 Honda Civic Hatch 4 speed manual base model that was made in Canada. I was replacing the steering rack and decided to also replace the cv axles because one was just starting to click. However, I've run into problems. It seems that the axles are odd-ball Canadian and aren't available anymore and I can't even find a place in Minneapolis to rebuild them. They are 26 spline on the inner (tranny) side, but only 23 spline on the outer (wheel) side. I was hoping that someone on the forum had some suggestions or maybe knew of a vendor that could help me out. The civic is 100% rust free with only 89,XXX miles on it, so its worth keeping around, eh. Thanks for any and all help!
