90 Civic Won't Crank

My Civic started and ran fine. After parking it for one hour, It won't crank. The battery is fine and all fuses are good. I push in the clutch and turn the key and nothing happens, no clicking or anything. Any suggestions?

This is often because the rubber pad on the clutch pedal arm has fallen out, so the interlock switch no longer gets pressed when you push the pedal down to the floor. Or the switch itself has failed. Unplug the switch (it is way up at the top) and put a jumper wire in the plug. Then try to start.

That is assuming that the battery etc. really is good. You can test battery and starter by jumping the starter using a test wire from the small terminal on the starter to the battery (+). Make sure the car is not in gear because if it is working the engine will turn.

When you turn the key do the dash lights turn on? If not then its most likely a battery cable/terminal

i agree with mk378 try and jump it the ignition or the neutral safety switch sounds like it went out on you.. i've installed quite a few push button starts on cars with this issue due to some people not having enough money to replace it and because they think its cool..
