Exclamation 91 DX Hatchback not starting...

Okay, I have a 91 hatchback that has been giving me problems for the past 10-11 months. It started last summer, whenever it was really hot in the car I would attempt to start it but it would only crank. I could get it to crank forever but it wouldn't turn over. It did the same thing for a while during the winter as well. I replaced my plugs, fuel filter, and air filter. We then thought it was the fuel pump relay. After taking it out and examining it, i found that the relay wasn't sitting completely solid on the circuit board. We replaced the relay and for a little while it was working and starting up every time. But after about a week, once again it started to act up and not start. Now I'm thinking it may be the fuel pump but before I drop money into it I want to be sure. Also, while driving and holding the gas pedal at a consistent level, i can feel a slight lurching. This makes me think it could be the fuel pump. I'm not sure at all and could really use some guidance.

That sure sounds like it's your main relay.
