93 civ wont start+ more problems
my 93 civic wont start. it cranks over them sputters and dies a second later will start a lil if i pump the gas. i am also leaking coolant, its leaking out the back side of motor. also there is oil in coolant as well. i am going to replace headgasket this weekend. is there anything else that could be the problem or i should look at while i am working on it?? i dont think it is the: fuel pump, it is gettin spark, and the waterpump was replaced when i bought it
ANY HELP?!?!
ANY HELP?!?!
Take the spark plugs out and inspect. Water in the cylinders will make it very hard to start. Also check the compression.
Did it overheat on you? Driving while overheated often completely toasts the engine; a new head gasket wouldn't fix it. The only way to know is to try though.
