Default 93 Civic DX W/D16Z6 Wont start

Ok I recently bought a 93 Civic with a D16Z6 dropped in and it wasalso converted to a 5 speed from automatic. I turn the key and the Idiot lights come on but thats it, it wont crank or anything when I turn the key to start it the lights dim and my stereo turns off, but no crank, I disconnected the battery hopeing to reset the ECU and still didnt work, I checked all the fuses and some were burnt out but I replaced thos and still nothing. I talked to a freind of mine and he said that if the starter went out on the car I wouldnt get a crank and also since it's had an engine swap that I should check the wiring underneath the dash and make sure it was done right and nothing came undone, Well the starter is fine and the wiring looks ok, does anyone else know of any other suggestions?

i'm going to assume you installed the clutch safety switch.... and that you are pressing the clutch in when you go to start haha

make sure all the wires are connected in the engine bay... what ecu are you using?

the only reason it wouldnt even crank is power isnt getting to the starter, or the starter was bad, but you said it was ok...

Most likely the battery has run down to the point it can't turn the starter. Try a jump start, or since it's manual you could roll-start the car if it's in a place where that is possible and safe.

Or bad connections at the battery, bad (shorted, which is very rare) starter, or the engine is seized. The starter is trying to engage but isn't able to turn the engine for some reason.
