Civic forum - Accord swap. :D

You need to wire in Vtec. Contact Rywire.com, they can help you get what you need. The non-vtec harness should plug up with the exception of vtec of course.

Ok thank you, I have never done a wire swap before , how long would it take to put the new wiring harness on

Adding vtec wiring shouldn't take long if you want to use the current harness you have.

Installing a complete new harness with the motor out of the car is easy and wouldn't take more than 30 min. In the car, you are looking at about 2-3 hours tops. I pulled my complete civic harness (chopped and routed by a shop fill with idiots) within 1.5 hours. The new harness was installed in about 2.5 hours, but I took my time with everything.
