Default 94' civic clock problems!

This will probably seem like a stupid 'problem' and not that technical but ive recently fitted new speakers in my 94 civic lsi, this meant i had to take the head unit out and when id finished i noticed the clock re-set itself to 1:00 every time i turned the car off.

has anyone else suffered this or does anyone know how to solve it?

you didn't wire it right. mine did the same thing. the problem is that it needs constant power. wire it to run on the acc and on key position and that should solve your problem. don't ask me how to do it or figure out which one it goues to cuz i don't know. my uncle is an electrician and he did it for me. I just asked what the problem was and that was what he told me! good luck!
