Default 94 Civic DX, Won't start story!!!

My freind is in the process of selling his 94 DX. A guy came to look at it and its was running fine. The guy was dickerring with price too much. My buddie went inside his house for about two minutes. He came back out and told the guy that he was not going to sell that cheap. The guy left. My buddie went to park the car, Guess what, it won't start. It turns over fine but it is now a no go.
My????
What could the guy have done in two minutes to screw up the car? Its seems to have good spark, and I don;t think that fuel is an issue.
Could he have pulled a fuse?
Confused!
Any ideas would be great.

Welcome to HCF!!! Sounds like the engine coil. This can happen all of a sudden and at any time. Motor will turn but not start. Best of luck to ya!

Stiil not running!!! No spark. We checked the voltage and ohm'd out the prim and Sec sides of the coil and checked the module Via the chilton manual. We are baffellled.

What could we be missing? Is it possible that the Cap and rotor could be gone? we never changed them.

There was a guy who had similar problem. It may have been this forum or other Civic forum. Any way, he checked all the ingintion system components including the coil. Everything checked out O.K. But in the end he changed the coil and the engine started. It is unusual but the coil was at fault while ohm reading was spec.
