95 Civic Brake light problems

I have been working on my brothers civic, we drove down the road the other day and he didnt have any brake lights. I checked the bulbs and replaced 1 that was blown and checked all the fuses, which were good. The brake lights still dont work. Is there any inline fuses in the system or has anyone had problems with the switch under the dash that attaches to the brake peddle arm? Or any issues any one would know about.

Thanks for any info

The fuse is under the hood in the box next to the battery, #42. Did you check there? The same fuse feeds the horn. See if the horn still works. If fuse is OK unplug the switch and jump from the white and green wire to the green and white wire. Lights should come on. If that works, switch is bad.

Yeah i checked to fuse under the hood, and had my brother blow the horn. Are you talking about jumping the swicth under the dash?

Yes, the one on the brake pedal. The circuit is real simple: fuse --> switch --> lights.
