95 Civic DX Suspension Problem
Hey everyone, I'm new here, and I just bought a 1995 Honda civic DX with a manual transmission with 185k miles on it. It runs well, just a few issues with it. The one I have been trying to figure out has to do with the suspension.
First, the steering felt very loose and the struts felt very soft and the car felt boat-like when I would go into turns, so I fixed that by replacing both tie rod ends and changing the front struts out. The next issue is (which I had hoped that it would get fixed by replacing the struts) that when I am driving down the road and hit a bump or pothole, there is a rattling/knocking noise somewhere in the front suspension. I cannot figure out what the culprit is, and I do not want to go about replacing every single suspension part in hoping to find the problem Any advice? |
Anyone?

There really isn't much on the front suspension to rattle. The only thing I could think of is the front swaybar, endlinks to be specific. If it's not that, it's probably something else unrelated to the suspension.
