Hey everyone Im new to the site and I can see that its going to be alot of help. Ok heres my story. I bought a 95 Civic EX that was overheated pretty bad and warped the head and block for $200.00. I ended up pulling the D16Z6 and buying an engine off ebay that the guy said was a ZC. The engine was identical to the D16 in everyway except for where the D16 stamp is right below the head it is stamped ZC. It is a sohc vetec. My problem is that the rpm hunts at 1500. It runs fine at all other rpm but I just cant get it hold steady at 1500. Normally that wouldnt be a problem but it becomes one in stop and go traffic. I have tried the idle valve, fast idle valve, distributor, and throttle body(inluding all the t-bogy sensors) fom my old engine and they have not helped at all. I am just not sure what else to do.
