Hello everyone, It's been a while since I have posted in the forums but I'm back at it. Well this weekend I decided to change out the Transmission of my civic. Well everything went as normal and I hook everything up and then the car won't start. I manually put the transmission in park and the stick also in the park position and then made a solid connection with the linkage. When I go to start the car on the cluster by the MPH it saving the car is in 4th, Is there something that I missing in order to get this to re assign out of 4th and to the correct gear like park.

I have ask some other people around here and everything so far has not worked or was a issue. I know the car won't start in gear and I'm pretty sure this is the issue.
Would a reset on the ECU fix this situation or is there another way.
