97 climate control lights

i looked up some tutorials and was able to get it out.
but i haven't finished since it got dark last night. so the cluster is just hanging out right now.
going to finish it up when the sun comes out.

on the tutorial it said they were #24 bulbs but the back is a little small so you have to move it around for the new bulb to fit. im at that part right now.

does anyone know how to replace the button lights?

The button lights are LEDs and should not burn out. If they don't light up (assuming everything else works) there is probably a problem with the circuit board. If you want to make them a different color you would need to completely disassemble the unit and solder in new LEDs.

ohhhh okay that makes sense because i tried to pull it out but it wouldn't budge good thing I didn't just rip it out.

how does that work? are all led's like that where they can't burn out?

You have to remove first the three screws, mode selectors button and unhook the snap-on clips.Pull slowly apart.
