97 EX converted to DX running P2P ECU CEL
Working on a bad conversion job someone did. Short story it's a 97 EX with a DX (non-vtec) engine. Had IAC issues due to poor wiring and has a blown P2E-A03.
Now running a P2P ECU and has CEL codes due to VTEC/NON-VTEC
Is there a way I can fool the ECU to thinking there is a V-tec hooked up ? I need inspection and get rid of the CEL. All codes related to V-tec (VTEC Solenoid, and oil pressure i think).
