Obd2 to obd1 conversion

Default Obd2 to obd1 conversion

i have a 99 civic coupe with GSR b18c1 swap i got a chipped and sockted obd1 ecu got the jumper harness everything is pluged in correct and the car has trouble starting but i will start when it dose it ldles at 2500 to 3000 rpm mess with the idle screw and nothing changes also the CEL has come on to the ECU has a basetune for my setup thought it was plug and play and help would be great

What is the CEL for?

Car runs fine on an OBD2 ecu? The OBD1 ECU is tuned, or just a basemap?

Ya the car runs fine with the OBD2 ECU in no CEL runs great, the ECU has just a basetune not sure what the CEL is for as soon as the turn the key to start it it comes on

for the OBD1 ECU the cel light was a 58 which is TDC sensor #2
