Question 98 Civic EX Power Locks not Working

I have checked the fuses and replaced the control box. Still none of the power locks are working. All locks work fine manually. I bought the car used and it has an after market CD player could that have anything to do with it?

Do the locks fail to work with either the remote or the driver's door switch?

Have you tested the door switch and the actuators or checked the grounds?

I do not have a remote. But with the key in the closed driver door the other locks do not work. I tested the driver door switch and it works. I have not tested all the actuators, would they all be out at the same time? or do the other three work from the driver door?
Thanks for your help.

Do any locks at all work electronically through the lock actuator?

Do you have four or two doors?

How do you know the lock switch on the driver's panel is good?

Doing the input tests below should pinpoint the problem:

I tested it with a meter

Doing the input tests below should pinpoint the problem:
This is exactly what I needed. I'll try this and let you know what I find.
Thank you.

Thumbs up This was just what the Dr. ordered.

I had ground problem that is now fixed.

Everything works except the rear pass door. The actuator works but the lock doesn't work correctly. If I keep pushing the unlock on the driver door the pass rear door will slowly move up a little with each push of the button but it will not lock unless I manually reach over and lock it.
I took the door panel off to investigate but could not get to the actuator.

Any suggestions for this one?

Thanks again for your help.

Sounds like a bad actuator.

Thumbs up Got it.

I sprayed some lube in the door through the latch area and it seems to be working better now.
Thank you for the help.
