98 Civic Needs Help (Engine Splash Guard?)
My 98 Honda Civic LX (stock, 4-door, Auto, 89K) recently lost the black plasticEngine Splash Guarddue to a nasty bottoming out. I am looking to replace it and need some help:
I believe this is the part, I’m not sure the picture is right though for a 98? http://www2.partstrain.com/products/...2.html?index=1 Several screws and bolts(maybe) hold the guard underneath the car. When I bottomed out, it took the screw/bolt that is in the passenger side wheel well. Anybody know where I can find one of these? Anyone done this before? Thoughts/comments? First post, looking for help! Thanks, Stu P.S. Anybody local to Jacksonville Florida know any good shops that replace CV Joints? |

screws and bolts are widely available at autozone or homedepot.
i went to local honda dealer and got them there, the fender flashguard plastic is 1 dollar each. |

yeah, that's the one. You can pick up generic plastic fenderliner clips at autozone.

Thanks for the quick replies.
You think the autozone guys would be able to size the missing bolt/screw/clip pretty easily? "the fender flashguard plastic is 1 dollar each." = ? I'm just replacing the main splashguard that runs the width of the car. What are the fender flashguard plastics? Thanks again, Stu edit: love the sig pics you guys have |
