Default AEM Bypass Valve...

Would it be possible to put an AEM Bypass Valve on any CAI other than AEM?
I plan on building my own, but I live in Oklahoma, and the rain here lately has been pretty bad, and I want to avoid hydro-lock in my engine.
Here's the link to the CAI build, if it would help any.

Also, has anybody used these?
Would it actually be worth the 40-50 dollars?

Thanks!

if you want safety and beyond, then you can get one if you like, they're not neccessary unless you go "swimming" with your car. and they will fit all intakes, just make sure to account for the pipe diameter and the diameter of the bypass valve.

Sometimes, it's like it is having to swim through all this rain...and most of the time, it's in situations where youcan't turn back, because there's too much traffic.

Thanks for the advice!
