any cool smog refs in sac, ca?
 

Im getting ready to smog my 91 hb, and i have no idea where to try to get it reffed at. i swapped a 91 zc sohc into it about a month ago. and now im worried that i wont be able to get it registered in time. can anyone help?

If you are actually trying ref and not smog then I belive there are only 2 in scaramento. 1 in north highlands and the other on Florin road. Both are government run so the wont be willing to bend much for you.

i was told that zc's arent allowed in ca, will they pass me? and, if i can just smog it, than i will. but can i? do you know of any non govt run refs? thanks fo the help.

Refs are government run. thats the whole point. but you should be able to go down and talk to them and see what it would take to get it to pass. just dont be a jerk to them, and they *might* be nice and give you advice on it.
