any way to fix air bag vinyl from spliting?

well my 99 EX has the steering wheel bag vinyl spliting loose on the right side... kinda looks ugly.

or do i just have to buy a replacement one thats not split?

ya just the cover.. its not the middle slit its on the right side top to bottom slit....
