Default Why does gear not catch when placing in reverse

I have a 1999 Honda Civic EX automatic transmission and 125,000 miles. I have the following questions.

1- When I place the gear in reverse it does not always move precisely into reverse. Thus, I end up shifting the gear lever a little lower or jiggling it slightly and it catches perfectly and I am able to go in reverse. This is the only gear where I have this issue. Should this be a concern ?

2- I am at 125,000 miles and when I go the Honda Maintenance website section it only goes to 120,000 miles...how do I know what my next maintenance task should be ?

It sounds like you need to adjust the shift cable so the lever on the transmission that changes the gears is in sync with the shift handle. I think this is done by moving the two nuts on the transmission end that hold the outer part of the cable.

Basically you subtract 120,000 miles and start the chart over at zero. For example the things that are done every 30,000 miles would come due again at 150,000 miles.
