Default bolt size and thread pattern.

I need to know the bolt size and thread pattern to buy to hook my engine up and pull it out of the car. I am taking out a d15b7 and putting in another d15b.

Also, if anyone can help I need part numbers for a seal between the trans and the engine.

Thanks!

Just use bolts from the car. Remove the starter and use one of the starter bolts to secure one end of a chain. Attach the other end of the chain to the tapping on the front of the engine where the power steering pump or brace was attached. Hook your hoist to the center of this chain and lift away.

There is no seal between the engine and transmission. They bolt together metal to metal. There should be nothing but air in that space. In fact, there is an intentional hole at the bottom to let any oil run out. (If much oil is coming out there, the shaft seal on the engine or transmission is leaky).
