brakes acting ignorant

After installing new pads the pedal goes almost all the way to the floor what could that be?

Your front caliper or rear wheel cylinder has a leak. Alternatively, your brake master cylinder has failed. Look for brake fluid leaks.

The location of the brake fluid leak will be highly informative.

I think its far more likely that you just need to bleed your brakes, especially if they were working fine before you changed the pads. The tiniest bubble of air in the lines can cause these symptoms, happened to me when I changed my pads and rotors. You just go to the auto parts store and buy a brake bleed kit for like $10 or $15 bucks and follow the instructions, its pretty simple. Buy some Honda brake fluid as well since you might use up a bit when you bleed them.

A brake bleed kit? All you need is a bottle of brake fluid, a piece of tubing, and a friend.
