Milage speedometer doesn't work? This is not on my car, but i'm posting for a friend. He has a Honda civic and the milage doesn't go up on it. He brough it thinking it had low miles but I reckon the milage clock has been not working for sometime!!

What could this be???? The speedo works fine...

 

chances are a broken gear inthe speedo head --it would be easyer to swap it out for a used 1
