Default bunch of parts which one is best?

i just spun a bearing in my d16y8 motor. i just bought a fresh d16 block with vitara pistons. the guy gave me what he said was a z6 head with a y8 cam... so comparing the y8 head and the z6 head what is different? will the y8 cam workk in the z6? also where is the head code stamped???

this is the mani i have https://www.hondacivicforum.com/foru...ight=head+code

also my stock intake mani is the longer thiner p32? and he gave me a shorter fatter p2k? ipt-1? mani. the shorter fatter one may be obd2?
any help with this??

i plan on getting the car running for now and going turbo later.

wow the more i look around the more different combos i find. my car is a 95 atx the block is a d16y8 the head is a z6. i really need some clarification as to what the better setup would be.

keep in mind i only have a cam from the ..... ok where is the cam code? the extra cam i got was said to be a y8. the cam in my car i guess is the z6... what a pain

Z6 has better flow, Y8 has a slightly more aggressive cam. The Z6 head is better overall.

I am pretty sure that the Y8 cam will work in the Z6 head.
