Burning smell

Default Burning smell

hey was wondering if anyone could help i took out my civic yesterday and noticed a noise coming from the back wheel so when i stoppd i got out to check and there was nothing visable butit wasREALLY hot compared to the others and it smelt like burning rubber does anyone know what it is as i am a bit worried thanks

yes its turning the car feels totally normal breaks feel fine

Could be that the brakes are dragging or that the wheel bearing is blown.

Jack up that wheel and see if it turns freely. Probably the brake is dragging, especially if it's a disk brake.

jack it up spin the wheel and check for tire were lose control arms brakes and bearing you should be able to move it back and forth a little to see if its the bearing "not in the wheel direction" pull from bottom and top of tire to check it .
