a/c Idle problem
 
I put new compressor, new drier,new seal and freon When I turn the air conditioner on, the idle is too low, If somebody know how I can fix this problem? Do I need put a A/C idle boost valve(1992 civic Lx )Thanks

Make sure your condenser fan works. Without the fan there will be over pressure with the car sitting still, which drags down the idle and also has poor cooling performance.

There isn't a separate A/C idle boost system. It's all controlled by the IACV on the back of the intake near the throttle body. Common for them to get clogged up with black gunk -- remove and clean with spray carburetor or throttle body cleaner.

Also you can try opening the idle air screw on the top of the throttle body. It is a big aluminum screw with a slot for a flat-head screwdriver. Unplug the IACV, and with the engine warmed up, A/C and everything else electric off, adjust for about 450-500 rpm.

Do not adjust the throttle plate stop screw on the linkage! That is not used to set idle speed.
