cable to hydro trans?

Default cable to hydro trans?

so i have a 1990 crx with d16z6 and cable trans. i was wondering if i bought a hydraulic transmission what would i need to make it work?

convert your car from cable to hydaulic.

it would have to come from a 92-95 civic and im not sure if it all will just bolt up. you will have to do some research to find out. but you will have to remove the entire cable clutch system, and pedal. and find a manual 92-95 civic and take the clutch pedal, master cylinder, all the lines, fluid canister, the slave cylinder. also i believe the cv axles are different on a 88-91(cable trans) to a 92-95(hydrolic trans). i suggest just keeping it cable and find a cable trans.

The big motor mount on the end of the transmission is also different if you go to a later model transmission.

the one you want to switch to is?
and that will have longer gears than the crx si tranny=less acceleration

d16y7 trans...wow... yea dont do it. just get a 88-91 civic si trans.

i love my 91 crx si transmission
