camber replacment
i have a 1999 honda civic ex. my reading was -2.0 in the red zoneits caused wear on the inside shoulder of my tire. the camber on the other side is -1.7 but it was in the green they said. they said if i leave it un attended that it will knock off 25 percent of my tread faster than usuall
ok, this is a seriously simple install if you purchase a good kit. its literally three bolts and your done.
step one: remove tire
step two: remove two bolts securing upper arm to body
step three: remove bolt securing upper arm to control arm.
then put together in reverse order.
if you want to save alot of money. all you have to do to fix your camber is when you take out the two bolts securing the upper arm to the body, take the bolts to your local bolt and screw place ( every town has somehting like a Fastenal or something). get bolts that are about a half inch longer, and some good washers that fit around them. then go back to your car and install the new longer bolts while putting washers inbetween the arm and the body. simple and easy and cheep. i did this for about a year and it worked great. i recomend using two washers per bolt to start with. that should get you close. oh, if you do buy a kit, i recomend Skunk2's kit. not that expensive, and it works awsome
