Can someone help me?

(1990 Honda Civic CX) My Civic won't start, Last week it was really cold, so i figured the Gas line froze, I put gasline antifreeze in it, but it still wouldn't start. I started to smell gas, so i changed the sparkplugs, assuming I flooded the car trying to start it. Still no luck. It sounds like it wants to turn over but wont.. any help guys?

Several possibilities:
1. Bad starter or started celanoid. Replace.
2. or weak battery. Jumpstart or rreplace.
3. Flywheel is stuck. Try turning it with a large ratchet and socket.
4. Something stuck or cloging in your carburetor. Take the intake system apart and check for obstructions.

Try some of those. and get back to us

do you mean the starter wants to turn it over? or the engine wants to fire and turn over on its own. cause thats how i took it, but it kinda sounds like you mean the starter almost turns it over.

If it's a starter, you would not hear anything besides a click when you turn the key. This could also mean that you got a bad battery, so if you try jump starting it and only hear a click, then it's a starter. This happened to me twice now, so I know for sure.

i also took it as the starter is working but the motor is not turning over on its own...does it sound like the fuel pump to anyone else?

Could be ignition-related as well. Check the spark to and from the distributor.
