Default car boggs down on takeoff

Hi everyone, first time posting but I have have been on here for a little while.I have a 99 civic ex w/auto it has 213k on it.When I first start the car it will bogg down about 15-20 sec after I take off for @ 4 sec(then it is fine until i shut it off). The motor doesn't have to be cool,I can shut it off for 5min then start it and it will usually do it.There are no codes and i've done cap, rotor, plugs, wires fuel filter, cleaned tb.both o2 sensors.checked fuel psi at filter when it boggs out and psi stays same.I am stuck as to where to go now any help or suggestions would be appreciated.Thanks.

Is your air filter clogged/dirty?

Is the air filter wet?

Have you checked the ignition timing with a timing gun and the service connector jumped?

I've had this problem in the last couple weeks also. It happens in the morning when I go to work and when I leave to go home.

It will start fine, then a few seconds after driving it'll bog down, I let go of gas and a few seconds later it's normal. And it never has that problem again until I turn off and don't start for many hours later.

I haven't check the timing,I will try that this weekend.I just wasn't thinking timing due to it only does it when you first start it.I was wondering about the ign module/ignitor it is the original one,or would that just make it not start at all? Thanks for the reply's.

You could be right, but a bad ICM would generally cause a complete stall or no start problem.

Maybe you should give more details about the problem. Is this actually a low idle problem at start up for 15-20 seconds or does the engine fail to rev due to misfire or hesitation during this brief time?

Any other problems? Does the engine burn oil? What's the city/hwy gas mileage?

The car idles fine and at start up it is fine it will rev normal in neutral. It is only once you take off and drive for a short distance usually @15-20 seconds the car will just bogg down and you will have no throttle response(it doesn't feel like an ign miss) for like 4 seconds and then it will be fine and won't do it again until you shut it off and restart it.It doesn't burn oil(i don't have to add oil b/w oil changes anyway) or smoke,or any other problems and the mileage has stayed the same @ 30mpg.And I have checked the plugs thinking maybe they were oil soaked and it would burn off but they look good. Also it doesn't have to be under a load I could be just going up my driveway slowly and it will happen or I could be pulling out of a parking lot into traffic and it will happen(which can be a little scary)I am going to try and check my timing today aand see how that is.I appreciate all the responses.Thanks.

I checked the timing with the service connector jumped and it was on the middle groove on the crank pulley that is where it should be,right?

How does the transmission fluid look, or smell?
