car starting issues

Default car starting issues

so i went to start my car this morning and it turned over and started for about 3 seconds then died i tried starting it agian and did the same thing so i got mad and tried starting it with my foot flooring the gas petal it started right up and ran fine all the way to work when i got there and shut it off i tried starting it agian and it started ran for 2 seconds and died agian can anyone help me out? and yes it has gas lol

Dentric,

Your starting problem sounds indicative of an insufficient fuel supply issue. This could result from a bad fuel pressure regulator or fuel pump. Also, you could have a vacuum leak occurring in the vacuum hose that is attached to the regulator.

For your reference, the fuel pressure regulator is ref #8 in the diagram below:
