I have a 90 civic 1.5 after driving for 2 to 3 miles the check engine light comes on an the car loses power. I cut the car off and 2 min later the light is out and the car runs fine for another 2 or 3 miles. can anyone help?..

 

i have the same problem bro in a 91 but it does not happen as frequently as yours but the check engine light will come on and the car will feel like i am stomping the gas and letting off the i will turn the car off and it will go away for a while...it doesnt happen everyday i have yet to get a solution but i thought i would let you knwo you are not alone...let me know if you find out what it is and i will do the same
