Check Engine Light Still On!
 

I just replaced my exhaust manifold, catalytic converter, and o2 sensors, and after clearing the code out the 'Check Engine' light comes back on, and I get the 'P0420' error code again - Do I need to drive it for a while before the ECU recognizes that there's a new cat/o2 sensors in? I thought once I re-connected the battery after replacing everything it would reset o.O

What type of cat converter was put in?

It's an OEM replacement

Not sure what to tell you unfortunately.

I replaced the same part on my brothers 98 LX with a generic $200 replacement and had no problems afterwards. How much did you pay for that replacement? What brand is it?

It's an EvanFischer Catalytic Converter/Manifold, paid $147 on eBay - I ended up clearing the code, and when the new one came up it was for the top O2 sensor - Apparently the new sensor was no good right out of the package - Returned it, got a new one, and everything is fine now ...
