Civic 06 Sedan FM tuning frequency problem, tunes only odd frequencies..

Hello,
I just bought an OEM CD/MP3/Radio from US (on Ebay) to be installed in my Civic'06 in Bahrain where all Civicis are sold without MP3 players. I got this one installed with Honda dealer and it works fine. The only problem I am having with this is that I cannot tune to FM frequecies which have even values (like 102.4, 102.6 or 102.8 etc) but I can only tune to odd frequencies (like 102.1, 102.3 or 102.5 etc.). I know that this is because all FM frequencies in the USA are always in odd numbers. But there sure must be some way to change the location in the unit from USA to say Europe or rest of the world. I read in the Clarion website that this can be changed in their regular models but I am not aware how to do it on the Honda OEM model.
The model number of the player is : 39100-SVA-A01 / PH-2679C
I even bought a repair manual from manualparadise.com but that did not have anything about changing settings etc.
I would really appreciate if any of you guys know a solution to this problem.
Thanks.

Why don't you go back to Honda and have them check it out and see if it is possible and what would need to be done.
By the way, just for fyi, you only need to make one post per topic.

RE: Civic 06 Sedan FM tuning frequency problem, tunes only odd frequencies..

The Honda dealers here have no clue and also the manual does not mention any instructions to change the operating location/country of the player. This is probably because I bought this from the USA and not from local dealer(its anyway not available here).
I guess it comes pre configured from factory as I bought this from the USA. So it can tune only odd numbered frequencies.

I am sure these is some diagnostic or factory configuration menu from where it can be changed. But I have no idea how to get into that menu.

Thanks.
