Civic 1999 very low compression and starting problem
Good afternoon to every Honda enthousiasts...
My Civic 1999 ,120000miles ,was running fine till yesterday!
Today it did not start....I may have flooded the engine because I tried too much to start....
It first seems to me like a faulty timing belt....so I did a compression test on the 4 cylinders (just by activated directly the starter)...and I got the 4 cylinders between 85 and 100 !! Which is very low!
I added a bit of oil in a cylinder and the compression went up to 120......
If my timing belt slipped by 1 or 2 teeth, do you think I would obtain these results
What is the easier test to check if the timing is ok
Waitings for your comments...thanks in advance
